In the Ronaldo family, father and son engage in a joyous and moving clown duel.

In the Ronaldo family, the circus is a family affair! In the midst of a décor of hanging linen reminiscent of his native Italy, Danny, the father, is a little old-fashioned and seems to live in the memory of his past successes. Nostalgic, but not ready to hang it up, at the risk of no longer being as successful. Pepijn, the son, in his youthful vigour, makes up for his father's failings and hides his own trials and tribulations.

Balancing on the edge of humour and sensitivity, the game being played between these two is one of great delicacy, between old glories and new possibilities. The Ronaldos, masters of a handmade circus that is profoundly human, create a father-son duo that is subtle, funny and moving.
