Eglise saint Antoine du Chesnay - LES SAISONS: ORATORIO FOR SOLO CHORUS AND ORCHESTRA

‘The Seasons’ is an emblematic work celebrating the magnificence and diversity of Nature. Composed between 1799 and 1801, this monumental work testifies to Haydn's creative genius at its height.

The audience is taken on a musical journey through the four seasons of the year, illustrating the changing landscapes, varied climates and human activities that accompany them.

More than 120 choristers and musicians will come together to perform this major work by Haydn in the exceptional setting of the Church of St Anthony in Padua, conducted by Silvio Segantini.
