At the heart of his subversive novel, The Satiricon, Petronius invites us to the banquet given by the ‘new rich’ Trimalcion.

It's a colourful crowd, from slaves to merchants, landowners to actors. A lecture and reading to discover Petronius' work and imagine what goes on behind the scenes.
